A group of thirty-five metal ojime crafted in iron, shakudō, shibuichi and other alloys.
Techniques include openwork carving, high relief, inlay and gold application. Motifs range from dragons and shishi to floral arabesques and botanical designs.
Strung together with coral beads, the collection demonstrates both aesthetic cohesion and technical diversity. Likely dating from the Meiji to Taishō period, the group represents the refinement of metal craftsmanship in small-scale sagemono components.
