「下鴨納涼古本まつり」に
お盆休みも終盤。今夜は五山の送り火。
糺の森の参道いっぱいに古書が並び、多くの人々でにぎわう「下鴨納涼古本まつり」に立ち寄りました。
緑のトンネルに包まれながら、書物と人が出会う夏の光景は、京都の季節を彩る美しい風物詩です。
その中に、古裂會のオークションカタログが並んでいるのを見つけ、驚きと同時に深い感慨を覚えました。
過去の一冊が、新たな読者へと手渡され、再び時間を生きていく。
本も骨董も、人の暮らしと記憶の中で受け継がれ、息づいていくものだと改めて感じました。
Shimogamo Summer Antiquarian Book Fair 
I visited the Shimogamo Summer Antiquarian Book Fair, where countless books line the avenue beneath the green canopy of Tadasu no Mori, creating a lively yet serene summer scene in Kyoto.
Among the many volumes, I was surprised and deeply moved to find one of Kogire-kai’s past auction catalogues.
A book once part of our history now rests in new hands, ready to live on in another time and place.
Like antiques, books too are carried through people’s lives and memories—continuing to breathe across generations.
