三面八臂、紅蓮の身にまとう宝冠、

そして力強くうねる水のうえの蓮座。

摂州金剛寺に伝来した、気迫と祈りのこもる一幅です。

Bato Kannon, the fierce embodiment of mercy, guides beings trapped in the realm of animals—one of the six paths of existence.

His wrathful expression is not born of hatred, but of deep compassion, shattering delusion and attachment.

With three faces, eight arms, a blazing crimson body crowned in jeweled glory,

he sits atop a lotus rising from turbulent waters—radiating both ferocity and serenity.

This powerful and prayerful hanging scroll was passed down through Kongō-ji Temple in Settsu Province.
